Long and wide comfortable belt at 20″x60″ iFit enabled Above average sound system Not that many preprogrammed workouts Would have liked to see an even more powerful motor given the belt area and the max incline and speeds of this treadmill The Nordictrack T9 ci is a slight improvement over the Nordictrack T7 si with a longer belt, stronger motor and higher max incline and speeds. One of the improvement is the improved built in sound system. Unfortunately, Nordictrack decided to include 4 fewer workout programs in the T9 ci which is acceptable if you’re willing to shell out a few more dollars to buy iFit cards to make use of the iFit technology. If you’ve been eyeing the slightly less expensive Norditrack T7 si, you might want to take a look at the T9 ci for the improvements listed above.

The NordicTrack Commercial 2950 treadmill is built to entertain and keep runners busy while they are training. It features a built-in television, Runners Flex cushioning, and a touch screen that is in full color and can connect online. Television – This is an integrated 15-inch high-definition television that is mounted on top of the touch screen tablet so that it is eye level to the runner and does not distract them. It can play sports, shows, and movies. Cushioning – The Runners Flex program allows runners to adjust the cushioning of the deck according to their preference. The cushion absorbs impact from the runner and decreases the pressure on the joints when it is switched on. When switched off, the cushion becomes locked and provides a road-like platform. The tread belt is 22-inch x 60-inch and which helps in reducing noise and friction during a workout. Trainers’ Tablet – A 10-inch full color touch tablet and powered by Android giving access to workout stats, e-mail, online browsing, sports, social networks, and HD Video Workouts. Runners can sign up for the interactive training program by iFit technology which designs trails by Trainer Jillian Michaels, tracked by Google Maps, provides HD video of the area of the trail, automatic tracking, and competition with friends. Runners can also customize their workouts. Strong Points TV treadmills might be making a comeback and the Nordictrack Commercial 2950 leads the way here with a 15″ integrated TV 22″ * 60″ belt paired with a more than adequate 4.2 CHP motor Comes with the ability to adjust your cushioning to match the outdoor environment which is perfect for those people who find running on a treadmill too easy compared to running outside. A 6-year parts and 3-year labor warranty is a noticeable improvement over the 5-year parts and 2-year labor warranty for similarly priced products of yesteryear Decline option, 10″ touchscreen web browser, big 3″ rollers, included wireless chest strap and a 400 lb weight capacity round out the strengths of the Nordictrack Commercial 2950 Weak Points A little on the expensive side even during sale periods Unclear as to how sturdy the machine is as the weight of the treadmill is not stated iFit membership not included To put it simply, the Nordictrack Commercial 2950 is one impressive treadmill! Looking at the treadmills back just 3 or 4 years ago, you would be hard pressed to find a treadmill that is as well-equipped as the Commercial 2950 at any price. Pretty much all of the features we’ve listed in the “Strong Points” section above were premium features back a few years ago. To find such an impressive feature list ALL within a single treadmill is really saying something. All the praise aside, it is the year 2013 and I can’t help but feel the price could still be a bit more competitive. This is only because it’s the year 2013 and thus our expectations are much higher than in previous years. If we saw a treadmill identical to this back in 2010 at this price, we would be head over heels ecstatic.
