With a maximum weight capacity of 350 lbs., NordicTrack® Elite 1300 Elliptical is a perfect choice for the whole family! Good points: Workouts are smooth and you feel like you’re working out on a commercial machine Very plain Jane when it comes to extra features Some issues with some elliptical parts breaking based on user reviews Comments: Advertised as an elliptical of commercial quality, the Elite 1300 is certainly a bit disappointing based on user reviews. Though those might be isolated incidents, there are other Nordictrack ellipticals that have had a much better track record. The “extras” in terms of console features that we’ve come to expect from anything by Icon Fitness is pretty much non existent here. My recommendation is to go with something a little more popular. Treadbelt/motor combination is above average for the 1300’s introductory price Supports but does not include iFit Live and wireless heart rate monitoring 350 lbs weight capacity is impressive for a Elliptical One of the most affordable 2012 Nordictrack Ellipticals out right now Average warranty Nothing particular that makes this Elliptical stand above its competitors Verdict: Out of all the Ellipticals that Nordictrack is currently selling, the Nordictrack 1300 is among the most affordable. However, it is also one of the plainest Ellipticals you’ll see from Nordictrack especially if you’ve been spoiled by the higher end models. Even though we say it’s relatively plain, we should note that it’s still relatively well equipped compared to other leading brands because this is ICON (Nordictrack’s parent company) after all. ICON and any brand under it such as Nordictrack may not manufacture products that would last in a commercial setting but when it comes to the bells and whistles department, even this entry level 1300 is nothing to sneeze at. Of course, there’s still room for improvement but for users who just want a basic Elliptical without breaking the bank, for 2012, the 1300 is one of two choices along with the slightly inferior A2550 Pro. Lately, you find that going to the gym is both tiring and a waste of precious time going there. Even a mere 30-minute workout on the NordicTrack 1300 can show positive results. So why spend it travelling to your gym? You need only one home fitness equipment. Just the NordicTrack 1300 is enough to burn your desired amount of calories within a period of time. Losing weight is very comfortable because you’re inside the comfort of your home. Your diet program is safe because you won’t see temptation foods and drinks anymore. Just keep the fridge stocked with crunchy veggies! Pushing yourself to the limits has become easy. The hardest workout program is offered in variety. But why look for the most difficult when the more exciting and smarter workouts are featured in iFit Live™? Get training programs that have automatic speed and incline. Downloading as well as keeping track of your progress are all powered by Google Maps™. The 10″ Full-Color Touch Screen with Built-In Browser Powered by Android™ can also connect your Elliptical online. Just integrate with the iFit Live™ The 20″ X 60″ 2-Ply Commercial Treadbelt looks is perfect with the 3.5 CHP DurX™ Commercial Pro Motor. Known for its motor’s silent and smooth operation, this Elliptical will always be like a well-oiled machine even after every heavy use. This Elliptical is heavier and taller than you when folded and standing vertically. No added assistance to lift is needed because the SpaceSaver® Design with EasyLift™ Assist just need push to help lift the collapsed deck easily. If you cannot find the right workout for you, just adjust these controls to create challenges for yourself: 0–15% 1-Touch™ Incline, 0 to -3% 1-Touch™ Decline, and 0–12 MPH 1-Touch™ Speed. The main selling point of this Elliptical would have to be the Android powered web browser The other selling point would be that it includes the iFit Live module so you can simulate running anywhere in the world A thicker than typical two ply belt is supported with an upgraded motor that runs at 3.5 CHP Costs an arm and a leg and probably an eyeball if you buy it at the suggested retail price of Comments: Out of the C series of Ellipticals from Nordictrack, the Nordictrack 1300 is probably the most impressive of them all. It may be impressive, but in terms of the bells and whistles, there really isn’t much to complain about. Not only does it come with the iFit Live module, it also comes with the Android powered web browser. So you can surf the web while you run (be careful though) and use Google Maps to create a trail for your Elliptical to simulate. We would think that this Elliptical should go on sale for or thereabouts. At the time of review, it’s selling for so wait until it goes on sale. At , it’s a tough sell. If you ever see this selling for, you should grab the opportunity as there probably won’t be many deals better than that out there.
